Preparation for final exam

• Review session on wednesday, June 1st during regular problem session period.
• For the final, you are allowed a two pages "cheat sheet". This is one sheet of paper with both sides written on.
• Final date and location: Thursday, 3-6pm, York 2722
• Note: uploaded corrected quiz 1 solutions. All the grades were graded with the correct solution, but the wrong one was uploaded.

Suggested (optional) Homework

• HomeWork.pdf: Recommended HW problems. All of the problems listed have solutions in the back of the book.

Grades for Quizzes and Final

• Scantrons of Form X-101864-PAR-L are required for each quiz.
• The students voted in favor of preparing their own equation sheets. You are allowed to bring in a one page 8.5x11 equations sheet with whatever content you might find helpful.
• Quiz 1, Monday April 11th
• Quiz 2, Friday April 22nd
• Quiz 3, Monday May 9th
• Quiz 4, Friday May 20th
• Final, Thursday June 9th

Average Quiz grade accounts for 60% of total grade. No make-ups for missed Quizzes. The final will account for 40% of the total grade.

There will be an alternate date for the final for the (few) people with justified conflicts.

Grading Scale

My goal is to have an average around 65-75% for the class at the end of the quarter.
