To-do list

  • finish off the ZZ analysis
  • CMS dilepton analysis
    • reproduce the Njets plot at It is my understanding that the "standard" analysis that produces this plot has relatively "tight" eta requirements. Find out if this is the cause for the large ttbar contribution in the zerojet bin. To do so, plot:
      • the eta distribution for the highest abs(eta) jet in ttbar.
      • the Njets distribution after loosening the eta cut. Ask Haifeng how loose it should be.
      • document both of these plots on the zerojets twiki page
    • investigate why so much DY background ends up in the zerojet bin after the nominal cuts.
      • implement the metspecial cut from CDF. You probably want to first plot the angle between MET and the leptons for the zero jet bin after you have cleaned up that bin as discussed above.
    • fill the table at I have scripts that do this for WZ. Remind me to show them to you.
